David Leavesley What an album. This is simply brilliant!
Tight musicianship, diverse tempo, diverse melody, diverse rhythms, intertwining story-lines; complexity!
Aragon takes me back to David Surkamp (Pavlov's Dog) in the early 1970's. Favorite track: Rocking Horse (Act 1).

Pie Been on my wish list for YEARS, and unexpectedly appeared right here on BC (of course I'm delighted!) These Melbourne blokes are all about unabashed Fish-era Marillion worship... and I don't mind AT ALL :)

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) I remember accidentally listening to "Don't Bring The Rain" in a CD store around 1989 and buying it straight away, enthralled that there's still hope for good symphonic rock music in the late eighties. This excellent archive compilation is from about the same era, roughly between 1985 and 1993, as I conclude from the info in the enclosed PDF booklet. The vocals are overly theatrical at times, especially on the live version of "Ghosts", but all in all, this album demonstrates the band's undoubtable sense of good melodies, which are embedded into extensive instrumental parts with lots of great keyboard sounds. Favorite track: Ghosts (Studio).
